The reason I started THRIVE was because I kept hearing things like: "They don't care about me at work, why should I care about them;" or "It's just a job, I live for the weekend;" or "I had to quit, that place was sucking the life out of me."
The people who said these things were making a good wage with benefits; but something was missing. Something was wrong. Something needed to change.
For the past 30+ years, I have worked in various capacities that support and develop the people in organizations. I knew that I wanted to find a way to help people have more positive work experiences.
I developed strategies, tools and processes to help organizations take an honest look at their culture, better understand the changing needs of their team members, and increase engagement and retention. I also put together programs to help people take initiative and take charge of their work experience and professional development in order to increase job satisfaction.
I enjoy working together with the team members in an organization, engaging them in the process, and promoting trust and accountability to ensure continued success.
